My Testimony

I recently had an experience that has strengthened my testimony forever. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God in this dispensation to lead the restoration of the true and everlasting gospel to this earth. I know that he was a youngman who was set apart from everyone around him because of the things he heard and saw. He never stopped his work. He lived great and he died for all he stood for. He loved the Lord with all his heart. I know that he did. His work continues today. We have a true and living prophet on the earth today. Thomas S. Monson was called of God and I sustained him as the only man to hold all the keys of the priesthood on this earth. I know that through him we are lead by God and by obeying him we will gain everlasting joy. I know all of this with every fiber of my being. I have felt it in me stronger than anything ever could be felt. I have been called of God to serve a mission on this earth. I will go and do the thing the Lord commands. I bear to you my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Elder Adam Montgomery Rea

Dear Elder Rea:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Honduras San Pedro Sula Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months.
You should report to the Missionary Training Center at Provo, Utah on Wednesday, 19 November 2008. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language.

I dont know what else to say. sry but thats it.

Still Waiting...

My call comes tomarrow! Im so exited I cant stand it. It came to my house in east texas but of course as im "traveling" im not there. So Cassi and her mom are express mailing it to me today. So it will come. Man she told me that the envelope said Elder Adam Montgomery Rea. WOW!!! Elder Rea. That sounds great! So does anybody know know when I get my name tag??? Oh the days are quickly counting down. So I made a goal to read the entire BoM before I hit the MTC. I have already read it this year, but rereading it will be another testimony builder. Well thats about it for now. Tell your families and be lookin for my next post. Till next time.

The End of the Beginning is close at hand

Well I got the idea from my Aunt April. (thanks Abril) So this is what the title says because up till now I have been preparing, in many different ways, for the next chapter of my Life and Adventures. In a few short days I will begin writing a new chapter in my story. Starting with a tear in an envelope. When I open my letter I will step foot into a whole new world. The world of a missionary. But this event does not begin my travels. No. Those that know me know that I have traveled alot. And those that know me best know just how hard my roads have been. But with my failures I learned and grew. And with success came true joy. As prologue to my next chapter I open this blog to share My Travels.
